Welcome to Slack Message Automation, a Google Sheets™ add-on developed by Ethan Newman ("Developer"). By accessing or using the Slack Message Automation add-on ("Add-on"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Add-on.

1. Use of the Add-on:

  • The Add-on is provided free of charge.

  • The Add-on is designed to automate messages to Slack from Google Sheets™.

  • Message delivery is best-effort. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered under all circumstances, including but not limited to exceeding Slack's rate limits.

2. User Conduct:

  • You agree to use the Add-on only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • You agree not to use the Add-on in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Add-on or interfere with any other party's use of the Add-on.

  • You agree not to use the Add-on to send any unauthorized or unsolicited communications.

3. Intellectual Property:

  • The Add-on, including all intellectual property rights, is owned by Ethan Newman.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-on solely for its intended purpose.

4. Limitation of Liability:

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Ethan Newman be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Add-on.

5. Modifications to Terms:

  • Ethan Newman reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Add-on constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

6. Termination:

  • Ethan Newman reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Add-on at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

7. Governing Law:

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.
